towards tuesday

i have been spending some time on facebook. i seem to manage either there or plurk. i've been playing some word games on facebook too, i need to install bookworm on my laptap at some point (finding the cd-rom would be a starting point) but i like ones on fb that i can play solitaire.

and i found two new missing friends. i'm really happy about that. turns out they know one another so by connecting with one (who i found thru another friend), i found the other!! course, time will tell how we keep in touch. the gal from high school who i got back in touch with before christmas hasn't emailed me back again.

it was a bit surprising to see the recycle truck today looked like a regular garbage truck. a lot of other neighbours had theirs out too, so hopefully it will be something that works for us here. i was surprised at how much of our trash IS recyclable, we'll fill our bin up with plastic milk containers and cereal boxes alone!!. we were only doing cans and bottles before since that's all the local place accepts. and of course as with all new things, i embrace it wholeheartedly!! :-)


ran some errands in the sleet snow this morning, and the pick up from school runs in the rain...and now it's just wet outside. have i mentioned how much i am over winter?? what's ironic is the display of bathing suits next to the gloves, hats and coats at target today...
