the art of christmas

i was slow to decorate the inside of the house this year for christmas. but for some reason i am very anxious to get all the decorations, tree, lights and whatnots packed up and put away. in my mind, somehow, i feel that if i put them away faster then spring will arrive that much sooner. of course, that is not going to happen. we are only a few weeks into winter obviously.

and apparently the undecorating isn't happening too quickly either. i managed to remove a few things, but so far those items are sat on the dining room table piling up! and i can't bear to part with the red and green tablecloth (where my laptop is atm). i like it too much!! ;-)
