kids and parties

son-four and his friend M celebrated their birthdays together at chuck e cheese. we joined together with him and his family for fun and pizza and brownies. it was an interesting experience though. CEC is one of my least favourite places to go with the kids. the one we went to is newer, cleaner and larger than the old style one we went to years ago.

apparently $20 is too much money for four children though, but they/we did manage to have a good time.  they played skee ball, kick the ball, shooting games and driving games. they rode the horse, the cars, and in the cinderella coach, and along with the teletubbies! they climbed thru the giant tubes overhead.

in the last week we've had three party invites, from son-four and son-three. it's been ages since they attended a birthday party, but i guess it's the season of party-ing. so the next two weekends, we're gonna be toting and trekking kids to the parties! :-)
