...the pink theme has continued on this blog??
i really LIKE all shades of the colour pink. i realised a long time ago that wearing pink makes me feel good. so when i am down, i put on pink socks, a pink shirt, or a pink sweater. thank goodness pink is back in style again. not that i care about style trends, but at least my wardrobe has been updated. there is quite a lot of pink in our house, subtle tho it is. my daughter is often dressed in pink, cos, well she looks adorable. in a few years, she'll have her own colours and make her own choices :)
...the name elenajane?
when i opted to create a new blog the first time around, i had the tough decision over choosing a name. i had some pink themed ideas, but there are sometimes nuances with the PINK title in a blog, and it's not necessarily the audience i was going for. i also didn't want to categorise this in any way to be fluffy pink frou frou. tho i think pinkchica would have been awesome. but signing it PC is against my nature, cos i am occasionally NOT very PC ;)
i chose two names that i like a lot, paired them and voila. and, as i have shared with some others, jane is a name my mother liked and used to call me. and anything that reminds me of a my mom is a good thing. i miss her a lot.
...there was another change at all?
it was time for another change. and while this time i have continued with the same address, i am hoping that this little bit of a revamp will help me separate my online life from my real life.
