at the mall today, racks of clearance coats and jackets. nothing that i liked enough to try on, but pretty coats nevertheless. and right next to the racks of coats? racks of bathing suits and cover ups!! not many shoppers in the mall, surprising given the amount of sales (borders express has their books for 40% off, is this an annual event i have missed in the past???). but with this great financial crisis in hand, i can understand the lack of shopping and sales.
my house is filled with boys tonight, teenage boys to be precise. they have migrated to ours for a few hours. playing computer games of course and behaving quite nicely. my little ones are very curious and very anxious to spend time with "the big boys" who are of course happily ensconced in the playroom basement with computers, monitors, x box, controllers and a projector (hubby made a screen for them using a sheet, it even rolls up). i'm thinking they're going to be hungry soon though, good thing i went to TJs the other day and stocked up on pizza!!!! :-)

I really wish what was in the stores reflected what consumer's current time needs are. I hate going to get a jacket in Jnaury or February because one of the kids had a growth spurt or ripped their jacket, and not finding any in stock anymore! I like saving on the stuff that IS Still there of course, but dang it, I don't need swim suits for another four months or so!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the full house! ;)
hope you survived the mass of teen boys and they didn't eat all your TJs pizza!
