getting out and about

after spending a busy morning, it was fun to get together with some girlfriends for lunch. we met at my house and then drove on over to a local pizza restaurant. we sat away from the rest of the cheering patrons, which was nice and less distracting (from the eagles game that was on, they lost, boo). it was a fun lunch, lots of chatting and laughing and silliness. some food and dessert, and eventually heat in the room.

we came outside to darkness and snow. it's still snowing but i doubt it will come to much. nothing like the snowy-scapes i've been seeing in friends photos online!

not much else, it's dull and dreary and boring at home. all the time. every day!! i have no reason to go out other than shopping and since i'm trying not to overspend i'm trying not to go out.

i do really want to try on the merells before i order them online. unless for some bizarro reason they're cheaper at the b&m shoe store, then i'd  get them there.
