mundane is good

my internet has been slow and i seem to have forgotten to post this last evening!! nothing wild and exciting, perhaps i should just combine the two posts, but whatever! here we go, two for the price of one, since both are done :-)

spent a dull and lazy day today. lazy in that we didn't go out in the car. not to say we didn't do anything. we did lots.
we played games and watched movies. we read LOTS of books. we played princess with girlchild's new sleeping beauty (princess aurora) dress up outfit (from kohl's, my other favourite store).
i made phone calls, organised flu shots and new meds for hubby and son-one. organised playdates and plans for friday's concert date (trace adkins and alan jackson). i even read a few pages of my new book! :-)
we also played outside for a little while. not too long since it was windy.
the mornings are chilly and the afternoons are warm in the sunshine.
son-three had two class trips this week. they didn't ask for parent chaperones for either. i would have liked to go to the musical though! i hope i will be able to do more activities with school next year for son-four when he's in first grade, as well as for son-three (grade four next year).
