time to play!

littlegirl and i met up for a playdate at the toddler playground this morning. and apparently today was the day to go the park playground since it was mobbed with moms and little kids. it was our moms club of four moms and another not so local area moms club. it was way too many kids and moms in one small space. i shouldn't be, but i was a little ticked off since i wanted to chat the moms in our club and couldn't cos there were so many kids around. i needed to keep an eye on girlfriend.

and then of course this is another busy week here. more back to school nights (one last night, another later this week), school photos (one today, another friday, one this coming monday, then another one wednesday a week), chorus, orchestra, and the usual homework and projects.

we're all getting back into a routine. hopefully it continues happily over the next months!!

tonight sonfour and i put together his "heart map", photos of people and things that he loves, things that he likes to do, his friends and all labelled. the purpose of it is to give them some ideas for writing when the time comes for them to put their thoughts on paper. a pretty cool idea i think :-)
