this and that

we're expecting a storm tomorrow at some point, so it feels tense and anxious to me. i am hoping to walk tomorrow and run some errands. i have a feeling i might not get anything out of the house done. so i guess that leaves lazing in the house watching movies and eating bon-bons (cos that's what sahm do all day, right??), lol!!

i am proud to have finally added more cds to my ipod. still have more to add. and tomorrow, if it does rain, i'm going to make a start on that software.

or maybe i will just have coffee and bagels ;-)

the repair dudes are coming next tuesday afternoon to look at the snowy fridge. it does not work still. i am just glad they are finally coming out. i hope it's an easy cheap-o fix, cos a new fridge is not in our budget atm at all!!

it's been a lovely day here though, the kids played outside, it was cooler than yesterday, i had the windows open all day. we had a playdate at the house this afternoon. we have another scheduled for next tuesday morning.

son-one is feeling better so i can toss him to school tomorrow. son-two had chorus today and has orchestra tomorrow. he seems to enjoy chorus more than orchestra (violin) at the moment. but one requires much more practise. we're memorising the capitals of countries around the world, in small sections. it's kind of fun. we did this before, four years ago with son-one who had the same social studies teacher. we love her. it's a fun thing to learn them all. and in my opinion, an easy A on the test!!

we have speed racer to watch this weekend. we're behind the times for dvds. we also have ariel's beginning for girlchild (ariel is the little mermaid). she.will.love.this.dvd. last two times i rented dvds for her, we had to buy the dvd of the movie in the end. but the boys will love speed racer no doubt. hubby and i just watched the first disk of the tudors (the showtime series). i think i liked it. it didn't suck me in. i wanted to know what happened. not sure if we will get disk two or not.
