it's back to school we go....soon

the back to school lists have started to arrive. i know we'll get hit with new items after the school year begins as well. every september it's the same; we go on vacation, and then start right back to school! so i try to get what i think might be on the list and then add to it after the year begins.

the kids are convinced that they must have every single item on that BTS list the very first day of school. in elementary school, at least in my experience, that is not the case. in the middle school and high school it depends on the teacher's mood apparently ("mom, she said we had to have it TOMORROW") ;-)

i want one of the school districts that send the supply list by grade out each july. but no luck....yet!

and if only mecca (target) would keep their back-to-school items in the aisles till mid september, i'd have much less trekking around! it does mean that staples and office max get my business once a year since their shelves are always stocked! ;-)
