here and there

this is me running madly from task to task attempting to get what seems like a million things done before friday morning. this is me with a sore shoulder and  red itchy eyes (allergies and late nights). and this is me wondering what the heck i am doing ;-)

i send hubby food shopping this evening, we apparently had nothing in the house to eat. though we were out of some staples, the overflowing cereal shelf in the pantry is a bit sparse atm ;-) the smaller closer target needs to restock or something, i much prefer the larger farther away one. i could live there, and there's a starbucks! hehe!!

i chased the boys into the pool this afternoon. they lasted less than half an hour. it's too cold apparently, lol! the pool comes down soon, so they better get a move on using it. and it better heat up here just a bit more!

princess is in between having naps and not having naps. since she was a in pleasant mood today, we skipped. but by 830pm she was a quivering sleepless mess. so we're not totally there. fine by me. i LIKE naps!! wish i could have one every single day! ;-)

and i finished another book. i cried at the end! how sappy am i? it's little altars everywhere by rebecca wells who later wrote divine secrets of the ya-ya sisterhood. i haven't read that yet, but the movie was good. it's a part one kinda book, but stands alone too. i'm not sure if it helped or hurt my imagining the actors from the movie as the characters in this book.

i have two more books packed to go on my long weekend away. a stephanie plum and one of those debbie macomber type books i like so much! i'll add them to my reading list when i remember the titles! and there's a suzanne brockmann book on the deck for my reading pleasure!

tomorrow is definitely a dunkin donuts iced coffee kinda day....so that's what i'm planning in the am. and finishing packing up....
