on being famous

10 reasons i would (or would not in my case) want to be famous (from here)

1. way too much attention/everyone wants to be a your friend
   
2. too much to live up to
3. lack of privacy
4. paparazzi
   
5. no time to blog or plurk
6. less time with my kids/hubby
   
7. no more target
8. would need to be on show all the time

i could only come up with eight reasons, how sad is that. and as i was writing those i kept thinking of reasons that would make it fun to be famous, so i'll do that one too!! :-)

1. new clothes
2. more money
3. a nanny
4. no more target
5. a personal shopper
6. my imaginary fall intern could be *real*
   

i've been watching the starter wife on usa network. actually, i'm catching up watching them and so i'm a little overdone in the show. but it's FUNNY! i can never decide if i like or dislike debra messing. i love her hair, and i think that's enough to like her more than dislike her :-) what gets me on the show is the whole hollywood scene -- great clothes, fancy parties, time to visit friends, the tanning etc. and her house is spotless. there's no nanny (she's a single mom now). even on weeds there's a housekeeper!
and the clothes she wears when she's doing dishes or chopping watermelon, beats my cute sonoma winery apron!! :-)
when i thought of famous, i though of molly's character on the starter wife!
i think i'll keep my little un-famous life.
