it all goes together, really

i'm hitting a wall when it comes to ideas for blogging lately. obviously there is only so much i can write about the kids, the rain, the dreary (or hot) weather, my latest visit to target or trader joe's, the christmas lights (saving all my holiday festive christmas blog posts for next week, when hopefully all the people who freak out at my apparent desire for christmas lights and shopping and fun will have calmed down and realised that it's just a little more than a month away), or whatever it is we had for dinner. (ya get them on plurk though, haha)

and well i don't write about politics. i moved my crazy obsessions to another blog.

but what IS left?

SO, in my quest for blog domination ideas, i found this just full of ideas, for later.

and then here i found this thomas wood print.
isn't it pretty??
it brought to mind paris and old books and sitting in the sun in paris along the boulevard st germaine (or the like) and sipping cappucino watching the world rush by.
it also brought to mind johnny depp and the movie chocolat, as well as the fantastic book that the movie was based on (one of my favourite books and movies).
and then of course JD made me think of pirates. and the pirate playset that i got my son today for his birthday. and then that of course made me think of my kids and the child's birthday party that i need to plan around the holidays.

and there ya go, we're back to christmas :-)
