how does one cold undo me so much? i am fed up being sick and feeling run down. and i even got some extra sleep this morning thanks to our time change. i still feel out of whack with the world (this is of course partially due to that same time change). it's like being jet lagged without the perk of going somewhere!!we finally watched the new indiana jones movie. it was typical indy of course. not bad. but very typical. i loved the originals though this one lacked a bit of the humour i remembered. and indy is of course older, but still has it (and stunt men of course). and the "i've got a bad feeling about this" quote was my favourite bit!!
still, it's been a busy weekend. did some holiday shopping yesterday, though i still haven't made a dent in my list. will try to hit a few more stores in the weeks leading up to thanksgiving and get the bulk done so i can sit back and enjoy it all.
and yes, i am going to start decorating soon. slowly. it's FUN :-) and i found these two items at kohl's, a cute plush santa to hang on my front door and a nativity figurine for the shelf. i'll try to keep it low key for now. but the closer we get, the more i want to just hang up the lights, the ornaments, put up the garland (imagine me humming "haul out the holly, put up the tree, before my spirit falls again. . .yes we need a little christmas. . ."
and my nanowrimo total thus far is abysmal. let's not even log in and count it eh?? not that i could log in if i tried, cos the site is SO busy. so i am already 3000 words below normal. and i have totally lost whatever idea i had last month on what to write. i think i need an outline.
