yeah yeah, movie-itis

i watched sliding doors again the other night. hadn't seen it in ages actually. it was one of those flicks i watched on an overseas flight just after it came out and could never really remember what happened. the whole movie is just odd. and i have read that it's nothing like the book. so now i shall have to locate the book and see what the difference is. i hadn't noticed john hannah in it the first time though. he's also in four weddings and a funeral. great movie. i love the way he reads the poem at the funeral. and yeah, he's in a few other movies as well, the mummy movies and he was rebus for a few episodes at least....his accent intrigues me. i'm still reading the gabaldon book and have scotland on the brain.
