reflections....

hurray, it's finally supposed to be clearing up and getting warmer here!! i cannot wait to be able to send the kids outside and not worry about jackets and if it ever stops raining, i can finally take the mud rugs away, since the outside is a muddy mess.

hubby and i are talking about getting the new pool up soon. we both have worries over safety though. so we are discussing all the options. it's a 3 foot intex pool, with a removable ladder and a soft debris cover. we don't usually have stray children in our yard so it ought to be just our kids to keep out of it when unattended. i want to write up a list of posted rules (like at the real pool). all offenders will be disciplined. only one child will balk at the rules.

today we are making brownies for hubby's birthday. then we wrap presents and make cards.

i finally finished watching PBS masterpiece's offering of cranford yesterday. i really REALLY liked it. the dvr is such a great tool. i don't miss nearly as many shows!! tho when the dish goes out during a show, the recorder turns off and won't just continue to record. annoying....
