beautify me

i'm feeling tired this morning, which is probably cos i was up a few hours last night with girlchild who has the cold that we all have had. she was feeling better this morning at least. she helped me cut some roses to bring in the house.

i counted 20 rose blooms on my 3 rose bushes outside. when we do add the front porch, i will be sad to see them all cut down. i doubt it will happen this summer though, so i have another summer with my pretty roses :)

i'm hoping to drag S to the movies this weekend to see sex and the city. i very much want to see and we haven't been to the movies in ages.

my bookclub chose a book that i have never heard of. i'm seriously thinking of skipping this summer. i will wait and see who's house we are meeting at and if i cannot find the book, i will just go and pretend ;-)
