passing me by

finally a bright and lovely day here in our part of the world. we celebrated S's birthday at our house yesterday with a barbecue. we watched a funny robin williams movie friday night. hubby and i are waiting for the next season of weeds to come out on dvd (3 june iirc).

ds1 had a good time with his friends for his bday party friday evening (at their house). we're having a party for his friends at ours this saturday. he only wants his male friends though....lol!! :-) i'm making him a portalcake....looks easy enough :-) then we're having a family party for him on 7 june, a change in dates ;)

i've now got whatever it is/was that the kids and hubby had. and i feel horrible. not fair that i get sick when the weather is SO nice outside. not fair at all!!!
