fridays and rainy nights

yesterday on the way to and from the doctor's with my daughter i contemplated describing all the crazy drivers i saw. the young woman who went thru the parking lot barrier (the one that goes up and down) before it went up again. the woman who slammed on her brakes to keep from hitting my daughter and i (we were in the pedestrian crossing) as she came zipping thru the parking lot entrance. and then who flipped me off. the SAME woman who said thank you to me outloud after she waited for my parking spot and got it (i didn't realise it was her, or i would have taken longer). the man who beeped at me to make a right on a red when i wasn't even GOING right. the woman who yelled at the young woman (her daughter?? in her early 20s if i had to guess) after she didn't wait for the parking lot barrier to go up. the same woman (the mom) who stood in the middle of the lanes into the parking lot trying to get a ticket for her daughter who didn't get one cos she hit the barrier.
by the i got home, i just wanted to bar the windows and not get into the car at all ever again.
but then i had to go to the chiro!! that trip was uneventful btw, a man in a white pick up truck let me into traffic (thank you). i got every light and the doc fixed my back....though it hurt a lot last night!!
