of friday and muchado

tonight is my book club and i plan to have completed that darn book!! haha, it has become this albatross around my neck. how bad is that!!! i've got one chapter left, so i know it will be done. and only one of the book clubbers will know how much i struggled. i plan to keep it to myself. they never seem to get me anyways, so i won't say much. especially since everyone seems so animated about this book at times.

i've heard that the obama book i mentioned in an earlier post is good. so i will definitely look for that in the next few months. it might end up in the used book shelf at the library before i can actually get it off the reserved list! ;) people around here tend to buy books, read them and then give them to the library. great for me!! :)

i planned to post the friday fill-ins last night and never got back online to do so....oh well!! i haven't been feeling great this week. today has been dramatically better, although i am still not terribly "well" as it were. but at least i feel pleasant enough.

this morning i got a few odd things accomplished in the house, blah and boring stuff. but then girlchild and i made brownies (for book club). she is anxiously waiting for them to cool so she can have one!!

i am totally hooked on this one....it's an out of facebook link, but facebook is where i play it! ;)
