we had a good time at the zoo, son-four was enthralled by the polar bears and gorillas! his exact words were "those are real polar bears mommie!". it was funny to me :-) due to traffic, we arrived late to the zoo so our small group spent a lot of time rushing to see as much as we could. we stopped for lunch near the bald eagles. i liked the prairie dogs the best. the rest of the animals seem kind of sad, but it does give our children a chance to see them i guess. at least we didn't miss the bus back home!the weekend was lovely and warm. it was nice to send the kids outside to play, even if the yard was a bit muddy. son-one had some friends over, they missed spring break together (since two of them were out of town) so this was their make up with video games, pizza and an overnight at our house! they are good kids, so it's nice to let them have a little crazy fun till 1am once in a while ;-)
sunday after church we headed down to grotto pizza. it a nice lunch/dinner, we drove two cars so my dad could join us. we brought home lots of leftovers which really won't last long since the boys love their pizza!!
today is a day of errands, in the rain of course. tomorrow is the same actually, only the errands are sans small girlchild :-) plus i need to stop at the book fair at school and help sort some clothes for the nursery school church tailgate sale. i'm not sure how i will squeeze it all in tomorrow, and get home in time to get son-four from the bus, something will have to go as usual.
and the new stove delivery has been put off to wednesday. sears apparently will let us choose the date of delivery but THEY choose the time frame. so we cannot limit to the say morning or afternoon....very annoying!! i just want the new stove. the old one smells of gas a lot today. i opened the kitchen window in hopes of dissipating the smell.
