the kids are antsy...and it's still too cold to run them outside. maybe it wouldn't be too bad if they weren't all coughing and sniffling! i'm over our colds as well. though at least son-two went to school today, the more days he misses, the more he has to catch up. it's not right sending him when i know he ought to have stayed at home. and we still have all of his projects to complete. but they're coming together slowly. and now we know lots about magellan and the wonderful things he did!! :-)
dav pilkey writes/illustrates the funniest books. son-three brought home kat kong (from the school library) yesterday! funny FUNNY, starring photos of real mice in live action shots again the evil kat kong! today he brought home dogzilla, again starring the famous mice saving mousopolis from the horrible dogzilla!! of course we love dav pilkey's captain underpants book (what boy doesn't love cartoons about an underwear clad superhero???we're also fans of calvin and hobbes and garfield comic type books! whatever gets them to read...works for me!!!
I think everyone is ready for spring here! We moved here in the summer (after asking for a place with seasons....) but we are so ready for spring!!
