hit and miss

everyone is rather testy at our house today. kids have coughs and sniffles, one had a fever and stayed home from school. hubby still has his cold too...we are over these germs!!

it was 16F this morning when we got up. and it was thankfully a bit warmer when children got on buses, it was in the mid 30s at least! the snow is beginning to melt, but i will be more than happy when the temps are back in the 50s like they were this past friday. it seems odd somehow that friday the kids were outside playing wearing lights coats and today we were bundled up in hats, coats and scarves and STILL cold!!

on one of my treks outside to the bus with the littlies this morning, as i was putting on my boots (in a hurry, stood in the garage) i whacked my knee on the bottom edge of the back door. and it is my left knee, site of an old injury and one that hurts from time.

so of course, i am not a happy camper either. it just hurts so i am grumpy too! :(

tomorrow's gotta be better, right??
